Great to meet you, I'm Joe Hertz!

Originally from Chicago, I graduated with my bachelor's in Music Performance (Pepperdine University) under the tutelage of American virtuoso Christopher Parkening. 

In my 7 years of teaching, I strive to help my students have fun creating music at their own pace, while also weaving fundamentals like music theory into the curriculum to equip them with strong technical skills along the way!

I have performed solos and duets around the country including Chicago, Los Angeles, and Kansas City; as well as abroad in Germany and Austria. The technical skills in classical guitar performance assist in playing other music genres like: worship, jazz, and broadway musicals. 

I have recently relocated to the KC Metro area with my wife and two cats and am learning the joys of KC BBQ.
